Description
Ultra Miniature Servo Drive
Up to 20 A/100 V and up to 9 A/200 V
Designed, Verified & tested for Extreme Environments -40ºC to +70ºC, up to 14GRMS (vibration)
Gold Hornet is an advanced, high power density servo drive with fully featured motion controller and local intelligence. It provides top servo performance, advanced networking and built-in safety, all in a small PCB mountable package that weighs 55 g (1.94 oz) and offers up to 1600 W of continuous power. Gold Hornet is designed to operate under extreme environmental conditions.
The Gold Hornet drive operates from a DC power source in current, velocity, position and advanced position modes in conjunction with any type of servo motor. It is designed for use with any type of sinusoidal and trapezoidal commutation with vector control. Gold Hornet can operate as a standalone device or as part of a multi-axis system in a distributed configuration in a real-time network.
The drive is easily set up and tuned using Elmo’s Elmo Application Studio (EAS). This Windows-based application enables users to quickly and simply configure the servo drive for optimal use with their motor.
Mating Power Supply ELP-30.
