extreme pressures up to 700bar

The already rugged by nature G-TWI series, which was modified to match the needs of deep
underwater applications having to withstand high pressure environments.

Typical underwater applications such as Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) and Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs), don’t always allow for a controlled pressurized vessel for the servo drive.

Testing & Verification

The modified G-TWI was tested and verified to operate without compromise at 700bar (atmospheric pressure), equivalent to -7000 meters below sea level.  Operation verification was done at a dedicated facility lab used for testing high-pressure oil & gas technologies. Elmo’s strict “Copy Exact” production policy will guarantee new applications with high confidence-level for the modified product to meet its designated high pressure rating. Any further high pressure testing will have to be done by the customer.
